Don't Miss Out - Our Event Sells Out Earlier Every Year!

The presentation is devoted to security features protecting the holder’s portrait as one of the most forged and sensitive parts of document protection. The analysis of the document forgeries revealed in recent years shows that the most common way to alter the photo is morphing. The essence of this method is using polymerizing inks to apply a morphed image to the document surface. Accordingly, document security features located in the holder’s portrait area play a key role in detecting forgeries.

In the presentation, we analyze effective and, from our point of view, less effective ways of using security features to prevent this type of forgery using samples of modern ID & travel documents.  UV fluorescence, blind embossing and DOVIDs will be discussed.
