Over the past five years, several new banknote designs have emerged in Asia, we will explore how advanced technologies are being integrated to enhance security and resilience, whilst reflecting the region’s innovative approach to currency design.

We will provide a regional overview of cash trends, highlighting the continued growth in the value of currency in circulation in most Asian countries. Additionally, we will discuss inflation trends and their impact on cash usage.
