Tour of De La Rue Lanka Printworks

We are very privileged to offer delegates the chance to visit the De La Rue Lanka printworks in Biyagama on the morning of the 7 December 2023. The plant in Biyagama prints more than a billion banknotes a year and supports the currency needs of many central banks, including Sri Lanka. The site employs over 300 local people and is a key Centre of Excellence for global banknote production.

The tour is restricted to central banks, government issuing authorities and state print works; numbers are strictly limited, so please register your interest as early as possible by contacting Weronika Komorowska  ([email protected]).

The tour delegates are subject to review by De La Rue.
